Poolbeg marina do not take advanced bookings but they have indicated that there should be no problem with visitor berths - we may have to raft up.
Several members have already indicated that they intend to cruise from Poolbeg to the Clyde Estuary and return to Pwllheli towards the end of June. Some cannot leave at Spring Bank Holiday but intend to join the group further North on the Irish East Coast
It has already been indicated that the following boats have expressed interest:
Imladris - Richard and Mary will be travelling down the Irish East Coast and they hope to visit Poolbeg for the (British) Bank Holiday weekend
Cindy Lou - David and June intend to cruise to Poolbeg on Saturday and then continue North
Hannah Lou - Dave and Janice intend to cruise to Poolbeg on Saturday and then continue up the East Coast and on to the Clyde
Dewdrop - Dave and Hilary intend to cruise to Poolbeg on Saturday and then continue up the East Coast and on to the Clyde
Supertramp- Brian and Mary, Phil and Jan intend to leave Pwllheli on Thursday 29th May and join the rest of the group at Poolbeg or Ardglass for the cruise to the Clyde
Sovereign - John and Brenda is hoping to leave Pwllheli around 3rd June and join the rest of the fleet somewhere
Seamist - Vernon and Sue may be joining
Kind of Magic - may be joining the group

The Marina will be busy on Saturday and we have been advised to moor on
the long pontoon (breakwater) on the South side. It is better to use
mobile phone, rather than VHF, when contacting the marina. Telephone

North along the East coast of Ireland and to the Clyde Estuary
c.. Beyond Malhallah
It is a busy weekend for the boat club at Poolbeg. There is racing
on Saturday and we have been invited to join in a blessing of boats on
Saturday and a parade of sail on
Sunday. The parade of sail will cruise upstream from Poolbeg through
the East Links bridge towards the centre of Dublin.
