Rasio
Mae Clwb Hwylio Pwllheli wedi bod yn trefnu rasus hwylio o ansawdd
uchel ers nifer o flynyddoedd bellach. Fel y gwyr y rhan fwyaf ohonoch
‘rydym yn lwcus iawn yma ym Mhwllheli, gyda Bae perffaith i rasio
ynddo. Tybiaf fod ein rhaglen rasio yn un o’r rhai ehangaf a gorau yng
Nghymru.
‘Rydym yn darparu rasio ar gyfer ystod eang o hwylwyr, o gynnig her
i’r rhai sy’n dyheu am ennill pencampwriaethau Cenedlaethol; i’r
cystadleuwyr sydd allan i fwynhau diwrnod da o rasio efo’u cymar.
Mae rasio yn rywbeth sydd weithiau yn rwystredig, weithiau yn waith
caled ond bob tro yn blesurus iawn. Edrychaf ymlaen i weld y mwyafrif
ohonoch sydd wedi bod yn rasio o’r blaen, ar y llinnell gychwyn. Ond os
nad ydych wedi cymryd rhan mewn ras ‘rydych yn colli cyfle i fanteisio
ar gyfle gwych o fewn eich milltir sgwar.

Racing Message
Pwllheli Sailing club has now been organising club racing of the
highest quality for many years. Those of you who have participated will
know that we have near perfect conditions with regard to lack of
commercial shipping and strong tidal flows as compared to many other
venues in Wales and the UK. We have probably the best and widest range
of keelboat racing in Wales.
We are able to accommodate sailors with a range of sailing ability from
those who aspire to win major National championships to the racers who
are happy to race with a partner and to enjoy a good day out sailing.
Racing is not fun, fun is what happens in a comedy club, but racing is
sometimes exhilarating, sometimes very hard work, sometimes frustrating
but always enjoyable.
For those of you who have tried racing, welcome back for another season
of enjoyable racing; for those who have never tried it you don’t know
what you’re missing. See you on the start line.
