Marine Conservation Sites

The candidate sites for Welsh Marine Conservation Zones have been published. Four of the proposed sites are around the Llŷn. The RYA have a news item about them which links to an interactive map and more information. The RYA are asking for input to their formal response.
There is also a a Facebook group campaigning against the proposals and an online petition if you wish to oppose their establishment.

Olympic Sailing Tickets

In recognition of the Club's support to the RYA and the Olympics, we have been offered five pairs of tickets for the sailing event in Weymouth.
The dates available are 29 Jul-4 Aug (£35 each) and 5 - 8 Aug (£55 each).
If anyone is interested in attending please let the Office know by 17 May 2012

Sgrech Wins ISORA race |
|
Sgrech Wins the 65 mile ISORA race from Dunlaoghaire to Holyhead on Saturday 5th May.

The next ISORA race is the 100 mile race from Conway to Howth on 19th May followed by the Pwllheli to Wicklow race on 1st June.
