Dear All

Ell they are on their way. No bad first day with an average speed of nearly
6 knots. This includes about half a knot help from the current.

No rain in sight

According to the forecast there is little difference in wind speed all
around your course to my waypoint WPT1 until you get to Friday/Saturday when
they are forecasting slightly better winds around 26W. On this basis I would
still err slightly to the west of the rhumb line to WPT1 (25W)

Just for a bit of fun I am doing some stats on your progress based on the
position info I get from ARC HQ. I thought that I would let you have the
info each day. It will interesting to see how close my numbers are to
yours!!!!

The last is based on your average speed over the whole trip. If you hit
calms I may need to change the calculation.
