RYA Volvo Youth National Championships 2012 – Volunteer Opportunity

As a part of the RYA Volvo Youth Nationals next year at the Pwllheli Sailing Club, the boats and associated equipment have to go through a measurement process to ensure all the competitors compete with equalised equipment. This is done to ensure that the winner for each class wins through talent as opposed to having a better performing boat.

Subsequently the RYA will be running a measurement team on the first weekend from the Friday 30th March till the Sunday the 1st April before racing starts on the Monday. The RYA Technical Department are thus calling out for local volunteers who would like to help out with the logistics to the measurement process.
