Mirror National & World Championships

Clwb Hwylio Pwllheli sailing Club will host the Mirror National & World Championships in July with 350 Mirror National Championship at Pwllheli by Peter Newtoncompetitors expected from all over the world.

The Championships are as follows:

  • Mirror UK National Championship (23 – 25 July)

  • Mirror World Championship (26 – 31 July)

The opening ceremony for the World Championship, on Sunday 26 July at 1800, will start with a Samba band led procession along North Quay to CHPSC.

The UK Mirror Class Association are hoping for a record entry and state '..Pwllheli is one of the UK's top sailing venues, offering great waters, easy launching off a sheltered beach and a fully equipped marina for support boats. With the picturesque backdrop of the Snowdonia mountains, Pwllheli is a truly beautiful place to sail....'
