The final event in the RS400 class Eurocup series took place at Clwb Hwylio Pwllheli Sailing Club over the weekend.

Five races were successfully achieved despite the light and fickle breezes and thanks to the skill of the Race Officer, Richard Date.

Local boats took three of the top five places with Dave Jones and Mark Hogan from Clwb Hwylio Y Felinheli in first place.

This was the third event in a series which had previously been hosted in Carnac, Brittany and Cultra on Belfast Lough. Gareth Roberts, Events Manager at the Club thanked the competitors, who had travelled from as far afield as Cumbria and Hampshire, for attending and warmly welcomed back the RS 400 National Championship which is being hosted by Pwllheli in September 2010.
